GenAge Center: The
Genesis of LHM Partners

GenAge Center is the first LHM Partners Practice and the genesis of the idea to work to support the success of additional practices. Located in the suburbs of Grand Rapids, Michigan, GenAge Center is LHM Partners’ first venture into executing their vision of an optimized business model for Lifestyle and Hormone Medicine. GenAge Center was formed out of personal necessity.  One of our founding partners, Dr. Hyung Kim, was injured while training for a marathon. In the process of searching for holistic treatment that would help him heal, enhance his performance and improve his overall health and vitality, he concluded such a comprehensive approach did not exist in his local healthcare market. This inspired Dr. Kim to seek out a like-minded colleague, Dr. Tom Basch, and form GenAge Center to meet the needs of active adults seeking to maximize performance and increase longevity and healthspan. 

GenAge Center exists to help busy professionals, menopausal women, and avid athletes achieve the lifestyle they want. Using a physician-guided approach, GenAge offers various services, such as metabolic rate measurement, VO2 testing, DEXA scans, and hormone replacement therapy. The team of physicians and wellness professionals and GenAge take a unique, interdisciplinary approach to help clients improve all aspects of their health and wellness related to weight loss, menopause management, wellness and longevity, athletic performance and sexual health.
